Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit dtunemusic.com, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short and collect as little as possible: there are no user accounts, no newsletter and no sign-up forms on this website.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data processed on this website is D-Tune (dtunemusic.com), Warsaw, Poland.

For any privacy question or request, write to: our contact e-mail (enable JavaScript to see the address)

2. What data we process and why

Visiting the website (server and security)

When you open a page, the server automatically receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the address of the requested page and the time of the request. It is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and diagnose errors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept only as long as needed for these purposes.

The website also sets one technical session cookie, which is necessary for it to work, and remembers your cookie choice in your browser. More in the Cookie Policy.

Statistics (Google Analytics)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website — for example which pages are visited and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes data such as a pseudonymous identifier, approximate location, device and browser information and the pages you view. Until you agree, Google Analytics does not send any data and sets no cookies. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

Embedded YouTube videos

Many pages include videos from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube does not set cookies until you start a video. When you press play, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and may store data on your device and record the viewing, according to Google’s privacy policy. If you prefer not to share this data, don’t play the embedded videos — you can watch them directly on YouTube instead.

Fonts and libraries from external servers

To display the website correctly we load fonts from Google Fonts and scripts from Google, jsDelivr, jQuery and microcdn.pl. When your browser downloads these files, the providers receive your IP address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a fast and correctly displayed website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

E-mail contact

If you write to us by e-mail, we process your e-mail address, name (if given) and the content of your message in order to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering messages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or steps taken at your request when you contact us about a collaboration or licensing (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep correspondence as long as needed to handle your matter and for possible follow-up.

Donations via PayPal

The “Donate” button takes you to PayPal. PayPal processes your payment as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. After a donation we receive from PayPal the information needed to record it — usually your name, e-mail address, the amount and the date. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling and recording donations (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and legal obligations such as accounting rules, where they apply (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Links to other services

Links to Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, SoundCloud, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms take you to external websites. Once you open them, their own privacy policies apply.

3. Who receives the data

Data may be processed by providers who help us run the website: our hosting provider, Google (Analytics, YouTube, Fonts, APIs), the providers of the script libraries mentioned above and PayPal. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes.

4. Transfers outside the EEA

Google and PayPal may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy of it,
  • have your data corrected,
  • have your data deleted or its processing restricted,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest,
  • withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To use these rights, write to the contact address given in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl.

6. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not profile visitors for any purpose other than the anonymous statistics described above.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the services we use change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
